Hawaii - The Island of Aloha!
The People of Hawaii would like to share their Islands with you. The fresh, floral air energizes you. The warm, tranquil waters refresh you. The breathtaking, natural beauty renews you. Look around. There’s no place on earth like Hawaii.
Whether you’re a new visitor or returning, the six unique islands offer distinct experiences that will entice any traveler. Hawaii warmly invite you to explore their islands and discover your ideal travel experience.
There’s no shortage of things to do on any of the four main islands of Hawaii. But when planning a Hawaii vacation, it’s important to know that each island is, indeed, quite unique to itself.
Island of Oahu
Hike down the lush mountainside at Diamond Head, just minutes away from the oceanfront cityscape of Honolulu alongside Waikiki beach. Sunbathe all day and watch surfers day and night both on Waikiki and on the North Shore. There is an over abundance of shopping, nightlife and dining choices.
Don’t miss the SS Arizona Memorial at Pearl Harbor.
Island of Maui
On Maui, there are no cosmopolitan cities – just resort areas and seaside villages spotted throughout the island. Here you can visit the best spots in the world to whale watch, or watch the sun rise above the clouds and then bicycle 40 miles down 10,000ft. Mt. Haleakala. I suggest learning to surf –it’s easy and fun. Most schools offer your money back if you don’t get up your first day-that’s how easy it is.
Island of Kauai
Unforgettable cliffs, canyons, cascading waterfalls, beaches, and bays. Zip-lining, kayaking and taking a helicopter tour of the 3,000 ft cliffs of the Napili coast are my favorite things to do.
On the Big Island of Hawaii
You can witness the power of creation right before your eyes as you see the molten lava flow at Kilauea volcano in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. My favorite thing to do here is an aerial tour where you can see first hand the 11 different climates from lush rain forests to arid deserts, black sand beaches to snow-capped mountaintops. I think the biggest surprise is when you arrive this island and it’s black volcanic rock as far as you can see.
On any of the islands, you can find a nice hawaiian luau Or a Polynesian review which is a mix of dances representing all of the Polynesian Islands such as Tahiti, Fiji, Moorea, Bora Bora and Hawaii.
